The Atlantic Aviation family expanded this holiday season. Fifteen of our locations directly touched the hearts and lives of many by sponsoring or adopting a family that may be going through tough times and could use some relief during the holidays this year. By supporting these struggling families throughout the holiday season, our teams removed the financial burden and stress so they could genuinely enjoy the holidays with loved ones. 

This year marks our third and largest year yet for the Atlantic Adopt a Family initiative, with fifteen locations participating, including Albuquerque, NM (ABQ), Bradley, CT (BDL), Dallas, TX (DAL), Fresno, CA (FAT), George Town, Grand Cayman (GCM), Honolulu, HI (HNL), White Plains, NY (HPN), Las Vegas, NV (LAS), Little Rock, AR (LIT), Kansas City, MO (MKC), Philadelphia, PA (PHL), Raleigh-Durham, NC (RDU), Scottsdale, AZ (SDL), Tucson, AZ (TUS), and the Plano, TX Atlantic headquarters office. 

Using Atlantic-allocated funds, each location provided full holiday feasts for Thanksgiving and Christmas and completed the children’s wish lists. This year, over 60 children were able to open the gifts on their wish list, almost doubling the impact we had last year. LAS even chose to adopt not just one family, but two.  

The locations built connections with each family and were able to provide exactly what each of them needed, catering to their specific circumstances. Some of the families live in temporary housing or bounce around from hotel to hotel, so they received a gift card for their holiday meals. Others loved to cook and were provided with a full load of groceries, allowing them to serve a hot, home cooked meal to their loved ones. Each family also had a Christmas wish list fulfilled. Our Atlantic teams purchased and wrapped each gift, allowing the parents and guardians a moment to breathe easier. 

Atlantic Adopt a Family is more than just purchasing meals and gifts, it’s about making a true connection with people in our communities who deserve a blessing. This is our largest and most coveted community outreach program, and we are proud to give back to those who need it. We are committed to making our local communities a better place, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so.
