We planned to fly into Casper to watch the total eclipse. I was almost shocked to learn of the organization Atlantic had put together for this event, even working with ATC to arrange landing slot reservations. After landing, parking was well organized. A shuttle took us from far remote parking to the Atlantic facility where we enjoyed a catered lunch. We were even offered solar glasses in case we forgot ours. We did forget our camp chairs but that was no problem since there was an abundance of folding chairs and tables available, all outside, so we could watch the eclipse progress toward totality while we ate. Although there was a large number of people who flew in, and the line to get back into the building and to the flight line was long, it was handled well with numerous vans running to deliver both crew and passengers to their individual aircraft. I was very surprised what a pleasant experience we had despite the logistical nightmare of organizing this event. Kudos and high praise to the management and staff of Atlantic CPR. They helped make this an experience we will remember with fond memories for the rest of our lives!

I was waiting in the crew room when the line guy who they call T1 came in and told me that there was significant weather moving through the area. He asked if he could put our plane in the hangar and I responded absolutely. There were 3 thunderstorms that came out of no where. We fly to a lot of places and I must say this was the first time a line guy has come in and got me to ask to put the plane in the hangar due to weather. Keep up the good work T1!
