General Aviation Traffic Restrictions

Due to expected heavy traffic, Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority have issued a NOTAM restricting the arrival of GA traffic at Providenciales (PLS/MBPV), GA flights are not authorized to arrive on the following dates:  

• Nov. 26 & 29: Thanksgiving Week 1200L – 1700L 
• Dec. 26 - 28: Holidays 1200L – 1700L
• Jan. 2, 2026: New Years 1200L – 1700L 
• Starting Jan. 3, 2026: Saturdays ONLY until further notice 1200L – 1600L

General Aviation Screening Requirements

As of Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, all departing passengers and baggage on commercial (part 135 non-private) aircraft with MTOM greater than 10,000 kgs will be subject to screening by TCIAA security officers.

Due to the increase in traffic driven by Holiday Travel, Atlantic Aviation PLS anticipates additional ramp compression during the following dates.
