Runway Nightly Closures

Survey work is underway at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), with electrical work beginning February 22. Operators should expect overnight runway closures and select extended closures over the coming weeks:

Week of March 8
• Runway 7/25 closed nightly 2100L-0600L
• March 8 - March 13 (0600L)
Runway 13/31 remains available

Weekend Closure - March 13
• Runway 7/25 closed 2000L on March 13 - 0600L on March 16
• Runway 13/31 remains available

This marks the first of four planned weekend closures, which will occur every other weekend alongside the nightly weekday closures. During three of these weekends, Runway 13/31 will remain available. One weekend will include a full closure for fixed-wing aircraft to allow paving of the runway intersection.

Week of March 16
• Runway 7/25 closed nightly 2100L - 0600L
• March 16 - March 20 (0600L)
• Runway 13/31 remains available

Additional alternating weekend closures of RWY 7/25 are anticipated, including one full fixed wing closure (tentatively March 13).
