TW Yankee South Pavement Construction

Due to ongoing airfield construction at MDW, Taxiway Y reconstruction and associated airfield improvements are expected to impact operations through October 31, 2026. Additional construction phases are anticipated from Spring through Fall 2027. Construction activities include the implementation of a temporary Taxiway U route, taxiway closures, and a reduction in available ramp space, which may result in operational constraints, remote parking requirements, and increased airfield congestion. Atlantic MDW is working closely with the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) to minimize impacts and will provide updates as information becomes available.
