Atlantic Aviation Celebrates Grand Opening of New FBO and Hangar Facility at Napa County Airport (APC)
Atlantic Aviation is excited to announce the completion of its new state-of-the-art fixed base operation (FBO) executive terminal and hangar facility at Napa County Airport and commemorated the milestone with a grand opening celebration on June 4.
Originally announced in 2024, the project was designed to support continued growth at Napa County Airport while reflecting Atlantic Aviation’s commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and elevated customer experience. The newly completed development transforms Atlantic’s presence at the airport and includes a 9,500-square-foot executive terminal facility, a 39,000-square-foot hangar, and an additional 3,100 square feet of shop and office space. The expansive new terminal offers a roomy, refined lounge environment thoughtfully designed with a warm Wine Country aesthetic, creating an elegant and welcoming arrival experience that reflects the character of Napa Valley. The project also features a new fuel farm with capacity for 40,000 gallons of Jet A fuel and 10,000 gallons of 100LL aviation fuel, further strengthening operational capabilities and service capacity for customers operating in and out of Napa Valley.
The facility incorporates a wide range of environmentally conscious features, including the use of recycled-content building materials and interior finishes, energy-efficient lighting designed to minimize glare and light pollution, on-site bio-retention systems to improve stormwater quality, and native landscaping to reduce irrigation demand. Additional sustainability features include water-conserving plumbing fixtures, approximately 2,000 square feet of solar panels, insulated window systems, reflective roofing materials, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure with future expansion capability.
“This project represents far more than a new building – it is an investment in the overall experience of flying into Napa Valley,” said Jeff Foland, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Aviation. “We designed this facility to deliver the exceptional service, comfort, and operational reliability our customers expect while also creating an environment that reflects the quality and hospitality synonymous with this region. We are grateful for the strong partnership with Napa County Airport and the many teams who helped bring this vision to life.”
Atlantic partnered with a proven team of long-standing aviation industry partners to complete the development, including JRMA Architects & Engineers as design lead, Centrex Construction, Inc. as general contractor, and American Environmental Aviation, Inc. for fuel farm design and construction. Having worked directly with Atlantic on multiple projects over the years, each partner brought trusted expertise, continuity, and a deep understanding of Atlantic’s standards for aviation facility development, operational performance, sustainability, and customer experience.
The June 4 grand opening event included Atlantic and airport leadership, local officials, project partners, customers, and community stakeholders to celebrate the completion of the new facility and Atlantic’s continued investment at Napa County Airport.
