Atlantic Aviation announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a fixed base operation at Orlando Executive Airport in Orlando, Fla., from Showalter Flying Service. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015, subject to receipt of consent from the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.

"The Showalter operations at ORL have a rich heritage dating back to the 1950s and are unquestionably the premier facility on the airfield today," said Louis Pepper, chief executive officer of Atlantic Aviation. "We're pleased that they would choose to affiliate with Atlantic Aviation and we’re certain that Atlantic will be the stronger for it.”

The acquisition increases the size of the Atlantic Aviation network to 69 FBO with operations at some of the most popular business and recreational destinations in the country.
