Atlantic Rolls Out No Phone Zone Policy

Atlantic Aviation, in the tradition of an industry leader, has instituted a "No Phone Zone" policy
It has been recently documented that many accidents that occur on the ramp take place while an individual is preoccupied on a cell phone, smart phone or personal electronic media device.
"In the ongoing effort to provide the safest possible environment for business aircraft, Atlantic enforces a strict policy that no Atlantic employee may perform any ground operations while using a cell phone or other type media device," states Todd Smith Director of Safety and Risk for Atlantic.
